Donald J Trump

His Rise To The Presidency

The American people have spoken. It was considered a historic revolt by "the forgotten man and woman" against the political established machine, mainstream media, Hollywood, late night talk shows, elitists, Wall Street and Silicon Valley. Trump was the first US president to be elected without any government or military experience. During Donald Trump's entire Presidential campaign he filled arenas breaking all kinds of attendance records. He received the most votes ever for a Republican in both the primaries and Presidential election. Just under 129 million voters turned out on Nov 8, 2016 election night. Love him or hate him, it is undeniable that Donald J Trump did the impossible. Pulling off the most improbable Presidential political victory in modern American history vanquishing two political dynasties (Bushes and Clintons) on the way. Trump is now the 45th president of the United States of America. Throughout his Presidency we will provide you the most fair, objective and informative feedback on Donald Trump’s performance. The goal is to present comprehensive and informative content so that reasonable, open-minded opinions can be made on President Donald J. Trump.

2016 GOP Presidential Primaries

Grade: A+

(February 1 to June 7, 2106): An unprecedented and historic victory by Donald J. Trump. Just about nobody gave him a chance to win when he first announced his presidential campaign on 6/16/15. Running as a domineering outsider businessman, not only did Trump receive the most votes in the history of the Republican primary (over 13 million votes), he did it while running against 16 other candidates. The most candidates in the history of the primaries for any party. 14 of which whom were very qualified, accomplished, established and experienced politicians. Trump was extremely successful reaching out to the frustrated and fed up American voter by using a bold, bombastic, sometimes offensive, “we’re not gonna take it anymore”, message. The final count of the GOP Presidential Primary delegate count was as follows:

Presidential Campaign

Grade A+

(May 5 to November 7, 2016): Historic. Shocking. Stunning. The largest upset in American political history. It was the first time a non-political outsider defeated such an experienced, established, insider politician for the Presidency of the United States. In fact Trump was the first US president to be elected without any government or military experience. The victory by President Trump was extraordinary on so many levels. Let's point out a few.
1: He shattered the GOP records with small donors.

2: He turned SEVEN states from blue (Democrat) to red (Republican). Those states were WI, PA, IA, MI, FL, OH and Maine's 2nd Congressional district. They all voted Democrat in 2012. The states of PA and MI had not voted Republican since 1988. WI had not voted Republican since 1984.

3: Trump won the most counties since Ronald Reagan's demolishing victory in 1984

4: He secured victories in at least 83% - 84% of the counties in the United States

6: Astoundingly, Trump won an about 2,600 counties. Clinton won only about 500 counties.

7: Even more impressive Trump won an overwhelming 7.5 million popular vote victory in those 3,084 counties.
8: He received the most Republican electoral votes since 1988 at 306.

9: He got the most votes ever as a Republican President

10: Trump performed stronger among Black and Hispanic voters than Mitt Romney did as the Republican nominee in 2012 (pretty ironic considering how his adversaries branded Trump as a "racist").

11: Want to talk ironic? It was the first time in American history that a woman managed a victorious presidential campaign. Kellyanne Conway was picked by Donald Trump to revive his struggling campaign. And boy did she ever. This, after Trump was accused by many on the left as "anti-woman" and "sexist".

12: Astonishingly Trump won 42% of the women vote. Much higher than many pundits predicted.
13: He spent about half of what Clinton did on his way to the presidency.

14: As a matter of fact, Trump ran the most cost-effective presidential campaign in modern history.

15: Trump got more union votes than any other Republican since 1984

16: Trump's Presidential Inaugural Committee has raised a record $90 million-plus in private donations, far more than President Barack Obama's two inaugural committees.

17: Trump turned 209 of the 676 counties that had twice supported Obama.

18: Trump’s margin among whites without a college degree was the largest among any Presidential candidate since 1980.

Considering all the above points, Trump's victory was even that much more impressive when factoring in he was running against the would be first female President of the United States, much of the establishment Republicans publicly not supporting him (boy do they feel silly now), staggering media biased coverage, arguably the two most powerful political machines in history (Clintons and Obamas) stumping for Hillary, and the heavy Hollywood superstars holding Hillary was truly a miracle Trump was able to pull it off. This victory proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the "forgotten people" do indeed have a voice.
